Before you workout it is suggested that you wear practical clothes. It’s much harder to get a good workout wearing jeans and a button up shirt. So I’m going to share a few tips on clothing that I believe are important for working out.

The best workout clothes have to allow some vital functions. The must allow you to freely move with for a full range of motion. You will be very limited without this because the resistance in your clothing will make it hard to accurately perform an exercise most require a full range of motion or close to it.

Your clothes should be light fitting so that air can pass through it and more importantly so that sweet can be evaporated. The ideal temperature for exercise is in the 60s (Fahrenheit) so wearing sweat shirts so that you sweet more is pointless because you run the risk of overheating in warm environments and your sweat is not allowed to evaporate also the calories burned are practically the same regardless of if you wear a sweat shirt or not.

I also believe having good shoes are very important. When running I only wear running shoes they function the best for running and allow you to run faster, with more ease and also reduce the chance of back problems. Many people stop running because of back problems, they can buy running shoes and avoid the problem.

If you really want the best consider the under armour products, nike and a few others also provide similar products that allow your sweat to cool you off, be absorbed or keep you warm by absorbing your sweat. These products are great for people who do a lot of outdoor exercise.
